Legislative Efforts

Our legislative advocates work diligently to take the concerns of our members to our Illinois legislators. We review every piece of gun related legislation that is introduced to make sure it does not impede the rights of Illinois' law-abiding gun owners. Your legislative donation pays for lobbying activities at the state and local levels. The ISRA has three lobbyists working to defeat restrictive gun-control legislation, and pushes to pass pro-gun legislation in order to protect your Second Amendment rights. Your donation to the legislative fund is not tax deductible.
